VMPET-JQ series is a chemical-enhanced metallized PET film. The coating treatment is intended to improve bonding between the PET film and the aluminum layer, supporting laminates that need higher metallized-layer adhesion.

The series includes VMPET-JQ01, VMPET-JQ17, VMPET-JQ20 and VMPET-JQ36. The brochure technical table is based on 12 μm film and distinguishes the grades by aluminum-layer thickness, adhesion and heat-processing capability.

VMPET-JQ01 is listed for both boiling and sterilization up to 121°C for 30 minutes. VMPET-JQ17 is listed for boiling only. VMPET-JQ20 and VMPET-JQ36 are not listed for boiling or sterilization. Finished-package performance must be validated in the customer's laminate.

• Aluminum-layer adhesion: 4.0 / 2.8 / 3.0 / 3.0 N/15mm respectively.
• Tensile strength: 210 MPa in MD and TD; elongation at break: 140% MD and 130% TD.
• JQ01: boiling and sterilization ≤ 121°C for 30 minutes; JQ17: boiling only; JQ20 and JQ36: neither capability is listed.
• The brochure lists conformity with FDA, EU, REACH, RoHS and GB 4806.7 requirements.
