VMPET-GF series is designed for customers who need stronger bonding between the PET film and aluminum layer. The brochure lists two grades: VMPET-GF and VMPET-GF02.

Common substrate thickness is 10-100 μm, with width and length produced to customer requirements. The technical table provides reference values for 12 μm film.

VMPET-GF02 provides the higher listed adhesion and barrier level. Grade selection should be based on the required lamination strength, oxygen barrier, moisture barrier and downstream process.

• 12 μm reference thickness and 1.4 g/cm³ density for both grades.
• Aluminum-layer thickness: ≥ 2.0 OD for VMPET-GF and ≥ 1.9 OD for VMPET-GF02.
• Aluminum-layer adhesion: ≥ 2.0 N/15mm for VMPET-GF and ≥ 2.5 N/15mm for VMPET-GF02.
• OTR: ≤ 1.5 / ≤ 1.0 cc/m²·24h respectively, tested to ASTM D-3985.
• WVTR: ≤ 1.5 / ≤ 1.0 g/m²·24h respectively, tested to ASTM F-1249.
• Surface tension: ≥ 48 mN/m on the metallized side and ≥ 42 mN/m on the non-metallized side.
• Tensile strength ≥ 170 MPa in MD and TD.
• The brochure lists conformity with FDA, EU, REACH, RoHS and GB 4806.7 requirements.
