BOPP AlOx Film can enter an easy-open PP pouch project, but the barrier layer does not define the opening system. A notch that starts a tear must not compromise protection before use.
As an AlOx Film Supplier, Cailong lists BOPP-AlOx-GZ as transparent AlOx deposited on chemically coated BOPP. Select the opening feature around the complete laminate, not the oxide layer alone.
Compare notch position, seal width and opening direction on filled samples. Check whether the tear enters the intended path or runs into the product cavity. Include handling before opening, not just a fresh hand-tear test.
If scoring is proposed, establish which layers it affects. Test unopened scored packs for leakage and barrier retention against unscored controls. Treat the score as a conversion change requiring approval.
Provide Cailong with the laminate drawing, notch geometry, opening-force target and observed tear path for a grade discussion.
