Separate wall movement from base collapse

Observe filled packs at the intended fill weight and headspace. Record whether the side wall bows, a gusset folds inward or the base seal distorts. These patterns call for different adjustments.

Evaluate the PE structure in its final shape

Coated MDOPE / PE sealant is a candidate for evaluation. The outer web carries print and support; the sealant forms the closures. Confirm directional stiffness and base dimensions before simply increasing total gauge.
