BOPP AlOx Film should be checked for surface orientation and treatment condition before printing or lamination. A film can look unchanged while ageing, storage or incorrect face selection alters ink or adhesive wetting.
An AlOx Film Supplier needs the grade, production date, storage history, treatment reading and intended structure. Cailong positions BOPP AlOx for transparent PP-oriented barrier packaging, but converter settings must match the supplied surface.
Label the AlOx side and opposite side when the roll is opened. Record which face receives ink and adhesive. Keep retained samples with the same orientation.
Use the converter's approved method to check treatment across the left, center and right lanes. Compare readings with ink and adhesive supplier requirements rather than relying on one spot.
Check print adhesion, bond condition and barrier after full cure. Send Cailong the roll details, readings, process sequence and failed laminate samples.
