BOPP AlOx Film can leave slitting with acceptable width yet develop telescoping, hard bands or damaged edges during storage and unwinding. Roll build and coated-face contact must therefore be evaluated with the slit quality.

An AlOx Film Supplier needs the master-roll width, slit pattern, rewind tension, taper setting and defect map. Cailong positions this film for transparent PP-oriented barrier structures, while conversion settings remain the customer's responsibility.

Inspect More than Roll Width

Check edge feathering, dust, core alignment and roll hardness across the web. Mark left, center and right lanes so a repeated defect can be traced back to the slitter position.

Protect the Coated Face

Identify every guide and lay-on roller touching the AlOx side. Clean contact surfaces and avoid local pressure that may leave scratches or repeating marks.

Validate the Rewound Roll

Unwind samples near the outside, middle and core, then compare appearance and barrier after lamination. Send Cailong the roll diagram, settings, storage time and affected samples.
